Registration for the 2010 HOW Design Conference is now open—sign up by the March 12 early-Bird date to save!

To help you pick the right registration option, we've listed all the possibilities in the charts below. Group registrations consist of 3 attendees from the same company registering at the same time. Each member must register individually and select his or her own set of sessions and events; members of your group may be registered for the HOW Design Conference or the In-HOWse Designer Conference.

Dates and Policies

If you register online with a credit card, full payment is due at the time of registration. If you opt to pay by check, payment must be received within two weeks of registration in order to secure your rate.

If you must cancel for any reason, please notify us via email at howconference@fwmedia.com by April 5, 2010. Your registration fee will be refunded, less a $250 processing fee. No refunds will be made after this date for any reason. Substitutions may be made by fax or email until May 4, 2010. After this date, all substitutions must be made on-site at the Conference.

Group Registration:
group rates are per person and require 3 or more registrations from the same company received on the same day. A separate registration must be completed for each attendee in your group. Student registration requires student ID and documentation of 12 current credit hours to qualify; see FAQ for details.

The group rate applies to individuals who register for the HOW Design Conference and/or In-HOWse Designer Conference.

Guest

Guest registration is $300 and includes admission to all Continental Breakfasts, Sunday's Opening Reception, the Designer's Marketplace on Monday and the Tuesday Evening Reception. Applies to spouse, significant other or friend in a non-related industry.

Studio Tours and Pre-Conference Workshops

Each Studio Tour and Pre-Conference workshop requires an additional $175 fee ($325 for non-full-Conference attendees). Morning and afternoon workshops are also included in the Combination Registration at a discounted rate. Visit the conference events page for detailed descriptions. Space is limited, and these events sell out quickly. It's first-come, first-served, so register early.

How To Use Coupons

If you would like to use a coupon you've received, be sure to input your code when prompted. (If you're part of a design organization and you are interested in receiving special rates for you and your members, contact us.)

If you are a member of the HOW, Print or Design Insider Programs, please enter your discount code to receive your 10% discount. If you're not a HOW Insider member, but would like to join, you'll have that option during your HOW Conference registration. You'll then be given a code you can immediately apply to receive your 10% discount on your regular HOW Conference registration fee.

Confirmation Packet

For attendees who register before May 4, 2010, confirmation packets will be sent via email to the email address listed on your registration form. Attendees who register after May 4, 2010 can pick up their materials on-site. All attendees will receive badges and Conference materials when they check in at the start of the Conference.

Special Needs

We make sure our facility has total accessibility, and we do whatever is needed to make attending the Conference as convenient as possible for all attendees. If you have a special need, please send an email to howconference@fwmedia.com.

Tax Information

Your tuition is tax deductible. All expenses of continuing education (including registration fees, travel, meals and lodging) taken to maintain and improve professional skills are tax deductible according to U.S. Treasury Regulation 1.162-5 Coughlin vs. Commissioner. 203 F2d 307.
