The HOW Design Conference focuses on graphic design creativity, business and technology. The sessions are
created with designers, art directors, creative directors, illustrators, production managers, studio owners,
advertising managers, marketing managers and communications managers in mind. In short, if you're a graphic
design professional, the HOW Conference is for you!
Attendees can choose from several Full Conference registration option;
there are also optional events attendees can register for (an additional fee applies):
Full Conference
includes enrollment in your choice of all regular sessions, continental breakfasts, Sunday Opening Reception,
Tuesday Evening Reception, Resource Center admission, and all Conference materials.
Combination Offer with Full Set of Session MP3s includes full-Conference registration, your choice of two workshops, and all available sessions MP3s (available within 30 days from the Conference).
Discount offers—including the past attendee and early-bird discounts—cannot be applied to the combination rate.

All Pre-Conference Workshops and Studio Tours are an additional $150 each for full-Conference attendees.
(Please note that both Combination Offers include two workshops for no additional fee.) The Networking Lunch is an additional $55.
If you register online, you will be presented with a printable receipt at the end of
the registration process (on your confirmation page). Please print that page for your records; it acts as your
receipt. You'll also receive a receipt in your confirmation packet.
The Group Rate is a per-person registration cost. By registering with three or more people from your company,
you can save up to $40 per registrant. Group rates this year are $1035. Please visit the
registration page for a complete price list.
To qualify for group registration prices, at least three people must register,
the attendees must be from the same company, and we must receive the registrations at the same general time.
Please note that you cannot register group members simultaneously; each member must sign up individually and
select his or her own set of sessions and events.
No, but you can make your reservations via Web, phone or fax. You'll find complete information on
the Travel page. Please be sure to make your reservations early,
as our room block fills quickly.
The deadline for receiving Early-Bird registration prices is
11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on March 28, 2008. The deadline for receiving Semi-Early registration
prices is 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on April 11, 2008.
If you would like to use a coupon that you've received, you are welcome to do so. You can input the code
(found on the coupon) during your registration process. The site will automatically calculate your
registration fees and subtract the coupon's value.
If you are sending in your registration by fax, please also fax the coupon.
The Student rate is $575 for the full-Conference (there is no discount on optional events).
To qualify for the student rate, you must have a student ID and proof of 12 credit hours.

If you must cancel for any reason, please notify us via email at
howconference@fwpubs.com by April 18, 2008. Your registration fee will be
refunded, less a $150 processing fee. No refunds will be made after this date for any reason.
Substitutions may be made by fax or email until April 28, 2008. After this date,
all substitutions must be made on-site.

you place your order. This means your order cannot be read as it travels over the Internet, so your name, address
and credit card information are secure.

The HOW Conference registration process uses cookies to track your progress from one registration step to the next
by assigning you a temporary ID number at random. (A cookie is a small file stored on your hard drive
by a Web site.) That ID number (and nothing elsenot your name or credit card number) is stored
in that cookie until you either submit your registration, leave the HOW Conference registration pages,
or close your browser, at which time the cookie is automatically deleted. All of your personal order
information is maintained on our secure server; only the temporary ID is saved in the cookie.
Some browsers allow the user to disable cookies, which will prevent you from being able to register
for the Conference online. Additionally, some privacy software will also intercept and block cookies.
